Despite its challenges, Instructor-led Training (ILT) remains a powerful tool in promoting workplace learning and performance. Our team excels at designing highly interactive classroom training that emphasizes skill development, not merely knowledge transfer. We generally categorize ILT courses as:
- Skills Workshop – The focus is on developing a workplace skill, not on acquiring knowledge. This workshop consists of hands-on activities that enable participants to practice, get feedback, and reflect on how they perform a work-related task.
- Lecture with Audience Participation – This is traditional classroom training in which the instructor mixes lectures with individual and group activities designed to reinforce what is being learned and to provide opportunities for discussion.
- Lecture – With this course, the instructor delivers a presentation with minimal audience participation, typically as part of an information session, rather than a full-blown training session. More and more, we design these sorts of courses to be delivered via web conferencing.
